The story about deputies of the single-party majority receiving money in “envelopes” is quite old.

This was noted by former Minister of Social Policy Andriy Reve on the air of the program “High Voltage” on the Ukraine channel 24.

“And regarding whether there is evidence – I want to remind you that the deceased deputy Anton Poliakov gave testimony to the NABU. We do not know what he said there, but he spoke about it publicly. And remember how this ended for Anton Polyakov? Referring to MP Anna Skorokhod, I will say that she, for example, is convinced that he was simply killed.

If this is true, then that is your answer to the question of why there is no investigation. Because everyone is afraid to repeat Anton Polyakov’s fate,” – said Reve.

In his opinion, the authorities are afraid of:

“They fear an honest investigation. If the previous General Prosecutor had been 100%… it turned out that he was not loyal enough – they replaced him with a new General Prosecutor – 200% loyal. Therefore to this day they cannot conduct an investigation, for example, regarding Tatarov…

I fully understand that the party in power is very dissatisfied when such information goes out. But no one is going to investigate. For NABU to investigate the same, they must have the SAP accordingly, and the prosecutor is not appointed. Why? Because then they are controlled by the General Prosecutor. And he can, accordingly, influence the course of the investigation in that or another direction. That is how it all happens… There is an usurpation of power.”
