Member of Parliament Vasyl Nimchenko indicated pension payments of 630 thousand hryvnias in the declaration, received for two days

76-year-old member of parliament from the «Platform for Life and Peace» group and retired judge of the Constitutional Court Vasyl Nimchenko disclosed high pension payments.

This was reported by «Glavkom» citing the declaration registry.

Over two days, 14 and 15 October, the Kyiv Pension Fund Main Department transferred to the deputy's account two pension installments: 296,4 thousand UAH and 333,6 thousand UAH.

It is worth noting: in addition to the above payments, the elected Vasyl Nimchenko declared 192,1 thousand UAH of monthly pension. In total, for 2025 year, the amount of pension accumulated to 2,3 million UAH.

In May this year Nimchenko filed a lawsuit with the Kyiv Administrative Court of Appeal. The politician seeks a substantial increase in the monthly lifelong monetary maintenance as a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in retirement (his powers as a judge were terminated 19 October 2005 of the year).

According to the plaintiff, the Kyiv Main Department of the Pension Fund should accrue to him a monthly lifelong monetary maintenance based on 90% of the judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine's remuneration, and not 50%, as it is now. Therefore Nimchenko wants through court to recognize the unlawful actions of the city Pension Fund main department and to recalculate the payments from 11 March 2020 of the year. Currently, this legal case is ongoing.
