MP Dubil was gifted owls in golden cages for his birthday. What will he do with them?

Birds were brought specifically for birthday celebrant Valeriy Dubel. He does not know who this gift is from. This was told to journalists from Slidstvo.Info by a guest of the event—the former head of the Party of Regions in Cherkasy, Ihor Melnyk. The celebration took place 9 October at the restaurant AL FRESCO, on the Obukhiv highway.

Ihor Melnyk said that he is friends with the deputy and gave him a painting as a gift. At the Slidstvo.Info event, the head of Batkivshchyna, Yulia Tymoshenko, was also filmed. She delivered a toast to the health of a fellow party member.

At the event, journalists noticed Member of Parliament from Batkivshchyna Mykhailo Volynets, former MP from Bloc of Petro Poroshenko Valeriy Ishchenko, representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Andriiy Yusov, and the former deputy head of the Department for Countering Drug Crime Serhiy Preutesa, about whom Slidstvo.Info had conducted an investigation.

Also at the celebration was the deputy state secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers Volodymyr Fedorchuk. He said he did not give anything to the birthday person. He refused to explain his presence, saying it was private life outside working hours.

In a telephone conversation, Valeriy Dubil denied to journalists that 9 October at the AL FRESCO restaurant a celebration of his birthday was taking place.

"It was an event of the Christian Corps; I was invited as a strategic partner, and what people wanted, that they hadn't seen me and for three weeks wanted to congratulate me and someone said a word, it's clear that I did not object," Dubil told journalists.

Regarding gifts he stated: "As always, all gifts, they are with the Christian Corps, we distribute them to the front and they have already gone." He did not take the birds, and the question of where they are should be asked of others.
