Lights will be turned off in 4 shifts: Ukrenergo announced schedules for 7 November

On 7 November in parts of Ukraine, hourly power outages will be in effect throughout the day, ranging from 2 to 4 shifts, and power restrictions will be introduced for industry.

In Ukraine on 7 November power outage schedules will again be in effect. Restrictions will be imposed throughout the day: for household consumers hourly outages are planned ranging from 2 to 4 shifts, and for industry there will be schedules of power limitations. The reason remains the consequences of Russian strikes on energy facilities.

The introduction of restrictions for 7 November was announced by the National Energy Company "Ukrenergo."

According to the company, hourly outage schedules for all categories of consumers will be in effect throughout the day. Their volume will range from 2 to 4 shifts depending on the situation in the power system.

Power limitation schedules were also planned for industrial enterprises.

The specific time of de-energizing in each region will be determined by the distribution network operators. It is on their official websites and pages that hourly schedules for consumers will be published.

At the same time, Ukrenergo warned that the situation in the power system can change. In particular, it is affected by the consequences of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, so the restriction parameters may be adjusted.

The company also urged Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly during the hours when power is supplied according to the schedule.

Earlier, StopCor wrote that Ukrainians should prepare for prolonged power supply restrictions and possible emergency outages during the winter period. Member of Parliament Oleksiy Kucherenko warned that due to constant Russian attacks, energy workers may be able to plan operations only one day in advance, and the greatest risks arise for Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Odesa.
