Exchange rates 8 November 2026: how much the dollar, euro, and zloty cost

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has released the official currency exchange rates for Sunday morning, 8 November 2026 year. Compared with 7 November, the exchange rate of the dollar, euro, British pound, Polish zloty, and Swiss franc did not change. This was reported by Hlavkom.

The regulator left the official dollar rate at 45,44 hryvnias, euro at 51,04 hryvnias, and Polish zloty at 11,64 hryvnias.

Over the past week, the Swiss franc, euro, British pound sterling, and Polish zloty appreciated, while the US dollar weakened.

By the way, in September the National Bank of Ukraine raised the policy rate by 0,5 percentage points – to 16,5% annually. The regulator said this would help support the attractiveness of hryvnia savings, the stability of the currency market, and control inflationary growth.

Speaking of which, 4 September, the National Bank of Ukraine introduced into circulation a banknote of nominal value 2 thousand hryvnias. Its introduction is linked by the NBU to changes in the economy and in the structure of cash in circulation. NBU Governor Andriy Pishnyy previously explained that the need for a new denomination arose from a set of economic changes. In particular, in recent years incomes have risen, prices and the cash in circulation have grown.

As reported, the National Bank of Ukraine approved a new package of regulatory decisions to support lending to enterprises and local communities against the backdrop of intensified Russian shelling of critical, social, and productive infrastructure. The new rules took effect on 5 September 2026 year.
