Person information

Head of the "Servant of the People" faction, key negotiator with the Russian Federation

David Arakhamia is one of the most influential figures in "Servant of the People" and also one of the most controversial. Until 2013, he lived and did business in the USA, where he has Republican connections. In 2014, he gained popularity as a volunteer — co-founder of a fundraising website for the 79th Brigade, which grew into the volunteer initiative "People's Project." That same year, 2014, he became an advisor to the Mykolaiv governor. Founder of LLC "MBA-Center," "Ukrainian Export and Investment Agency," and "International Center for Security and Defense Strategies."

$940 thousand, six watches, and wife's Cartier

In the 2022 declaration, Arakhamia declared over $940,000 and jewelry worth hundreds of thousands. He rents two cars — Audi Q4 E-tron and Mercedes-Benz V300. As of 2020, he owned 8 apartments and houses, several land plots totaling 1,200 sq. m, and non-residential premises of 630 sq. m.

After the publication of the "Pandora Papers" about Zelensky's offshore accounts, Arakhamia publicly stated: "By the way, I had many offshore accounts. I openly have them declared in my declaration. Currently, my wife has one offshore company from Seychelles. This is a normal process."

Casino, "Pari-Match"

Arakhamia is called one of the key lobbyists of the gambling law — alongside some Russians. "Schemes" journalists documented regular meetings of Arakhamia with the minority owner of "Pari-Match" and CEO Serhiy Portnov.

Arakhamia led the Ukrainian negotiation delegation in April 2022. He later claimed that Putin confirmed willingness to sign an agreement if Ukraine declared neutrality — but at the last moment Boris Johnson allegedly dissuaded them from signing.
