Multiple convicted "face" of the U420 network and the main source of information for the investigation

Cheban's private entrepreneurship was explicitly listed on the u420.com.ua website as a production link in the network. Multiple convictions: drugs (2007), burglary with breaking and entering and weapons (2009), thefts (2015, 2019); served sentence at Kryvyi Rih Penal Colony No. 3 (2018–2022). In January 2026 — attempted to purchase methadone in Kyiv. After the network was dismantled in April 2026, he gave testimony to journalists of "Sledstvo.Info," naming several involved persons — including "Pohresnyk" Ratushny and the curator "Ihor Patryk." Thus, Cheban is simultaneously a subject of the proceeding and a key informant for the investigation; his criminal past and recent methadone purchase attempt in 2026 cast doubt on the reliability of his testimony as a source.
