Latifundist of frontline Kharkiv region
Hennadiy Fedorovych Dereka is a well-known Ukrainian agriculturist, regional politician, and major landowner in Chuhuiv district of Kharkiv Oblast. He resides in the village of Stara Hnylytsia, has previously run for local government from the Agrarian Party of Ukraine, and closely collaborates with the leadership of the Malynivska settlement military administration. He is the founder, director, and ultimate beneficial owner of large agricultural enterprises — the farms "SFG DRUZHBA" and "SFG DRUZHBA-AGRO." Under his control are hundreds of hectares of fertile agricultural land specializing in growing grain and vegetable crops, generating millions in income and significant financial influence in the frontline region.
Land expropriator under the cover of security services
Within official complaints from anti-corruption public organizations and statements from affected landowners, Hennadiy Fedorovych Dereka is suspected of illegally seizing others' land plots, forging documents, and organizing a scheme of fictitious deferrals from mobilization. According to investigators' materials, Dereka built a corruption hierarchy involving his relative — Malynivska settlement council elder Valeriy Dereka, and involved former head of the Chuhuiv interdistrict department of the SBU Oleksiy Strelnikov to pressure villagers. Using intimidation and connections with registrars Serhiieva and Koltsova, the figure unlawfully alienated the shares of small farmers, re-registering the land use rights of plots totaling 158.8 hectares to his own companies for terms until 2044–2049. A separate line of investigation concerns suspicions of fictitious employment of local men at Dereka’s enterprises to grant them "untouchable" status as reserved persons in exchange for loyalty or monetary reward.
