Director of LLC "National Agrarian Company," General Director of STOV "Bilynske" and STOV "Vasyuty," member of the Agrarian Party of Ukraine. Hadzovskyi's entire career is connected with agribusiness—in particular, he headed LLC "Katerynopil Elevator," whose ultimate beneficiary is oligarch Yuriy Kosyuk. In the 2018 declaration, the following was recorded: cash of $65,150 in a bank account, his wife Tamara held €35,000 in cash, and he also lent $22,400 to third parties.
"Staged" competition
Hadzovskyi submitted his declaration already as the head of the State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection. That is, a person from Kosyuk's agroholding headed the agency regulating food safety—without a transparent selection process. Only in October 2019 was a full competition announced, where Hadzovskyi became one of four finalists. However, the competition lasted nearly a year and ended without appointing any of the candidates.
The competition for the position of the Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection was described in the media as "staged" due to the lack of transparency in the procedure and the candidate's connections to agribusiness.
