Head of the Economic Court of Ternopil Region with a million-level salary, hectares of land — and zero in accounts

He was appointed head of the Economic Court of Ternopil Oblast in 2023 (replacing Serhiy Stopnyk, who led it for 14 years), and was re-elected for a second term in March 2026. He passed the qualification assessment by the High Qualification Commission of Judges — “meets the position requirements.” Judicial family: his wife Oksana works at the Ternopil District Administrative Court. Everything is within the system.

Millions in income — and no savings declared

According to declaration analysis (gazeta-misto, 2026), Hevko receives a million-level judicial salary, owns hectares of land, and his wife adds several hundred thousand annually. But a telling detail: despite these official earnings, the family’s declaration shows zero savings — no cash, no funds in accounts beyond limits. Where the millions of official income disappear to is a question the declaration does not answer. There are no official suspicions or claims from the High Council of Justice against him — but “millions coming in and emptygoing out” leave room for questions.

Volodymyr Lvivovych Hevko, Head of the Economic Court of Ternopil Region, was suspended from justice administration in August 2026. Disciplinary sanction in the form of a submission for dismissal from the position. The case was opened because, in January 2024, police patrol detained the judge driving a Kia Sportage in a state of severe alcohol intoxication (1.83 ‰, which is 9 times over the limit).
