Owner of the Charm Jewelry Factory — organizer of the B2B Jewelry pyramid scheme

Mykola Honta is an entrepreneur in the jewelry business who in 2018 decided to turn the sale of gold certificates into a large-scale financial scheme. He is the owner of the Charm jewelry factory and held managerial positions in the companies "Charm Gold", "Vingold", "B2B Jewelry", "Live in Abundance" and headed the All-Ukrainian Association of Jewelers.

B2B Jewelry pyramid scheme

The B2B Jewelry pyramid scheme appeared in the summer of 2018, and in the fall of 2019 aggressive promotion of the scheme began – numerous "jewelry" stores opened across Ukraine. Customers were offered to purchase certificates supposedly "backed" by gold or silver, with fantastic returns – from 260% to 416% annually. For comparison: even the riskiest bank deposit rates never exceeded 20% – meaning Honta's promises exceeded them by 20 times.
