She was born on June 8, 1995, in Chernivtsi. At the age of seven, she moved to Kyiv, where she started her professional career in show business. She received education at the All-Russian State University of Cinematography. During the full-scale invasion, she moved to the USA, where she began studying at the Hollywood School of Acting.

Husband — a Russian actor she concealed

After announcing her second marriage online, it was revealed that Grosu married Russian actor Roman Polyansky, with whom she had a relationship even before the start of the full-scale war. The artist long concealed her husband's face from fans, refusing to explain the reasons.

Baptism by a clergyman under NSDC sanctions

Grosu baptized her son Mark-Gabriel with the participation of Metropolitan Meletiy Valentin Yehorenko, who is under NSDC sanctions and whom journalists characterize as one of the leaders of the "Russian world" in Ukraine. The godmother was singer Irina Bilyk. Grosu ignored the scandal for several days, then stated that she does not intend to pay attention to the criticism.

In September 2024, Grosu stated that she is an official representative of culture in New York on behalf of Ukraine. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs publicly denied this claim. Later, the singer explained: "Nowhere have I indicated that I received a diplomatic position. I was nominated as a representative of Ukrainian culture. Not an ambassador, not a diplomat."
