Since 2019 — Vice-Rector of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.

Journalists discovered plagiarism in Hrynevych's candidate dissertation: the publications "Domestic Pedagogical Theory on the Development of Education in Ukraine in the Context of European Integration Processes" and "The Concepts of 'Education,' 'Education Development,' 'Education Policy' in Modern Scientific Discourse" are composed of fragments of others' works, with Hrynevych even preserving the original errors of the sources. Hrynevych has not apologized to the authors, only publicly promised not to use borrowed works in her future scientific activity.
