Artem Oleksandrovych Yas is a Ukrainian legal professional, a career employee of the prosecution bodies with over 18 years of experience, who in December 2025 became head of the Chernivtsi Regional Prosecutor's Office. He comes from a well-known family of justice sector workers in the Chernihiv region (his late father Oleksandr Yas once served as Deputy Prosecutor of Chernihiv Oblast). Throughout his remarkable career, Artem Yas held leadership positions in the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, led Kyiv Local Prosecutor's Office No. 1 (Holosiivskyi District), and served as First Deputy Head of the Darnytsia District Prosecutor's Office in Kyiv. He gained wide media recognition due to his investments in foreign securities of large technology corporations, as well as his family's specific financial operations.

According to recent journalistic investigations and monitoring of open registries, Artem Oleksandrovych Yas is under scrutiny by anti-corruption authorities for systematic violations of financial control requirements, submitting false information in declarations, and signs of illegal enrichment. Investigators raised questions about substantial foreign currency savings, use of undeclared property, the luxury car of his wife — Hanna Yas, an employee of the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI), as well as the highly suspicious timing of the family's real estate acquisition a few weeks before a favorable ruling by the Supreme Court. At the same time, his person has been targeted by information attacks involving forged documents purportedly from public organizations, further intensifying the public resonance around his wealth.
