Islamov Viskhan Alavdievich

Director of Izium Grain Processing Plant of the State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine and Deputy of Kharkiv Regional Council — two positions simultaneously

Viskhan Islamov is the director of the branch of JSC "State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine" "Izium Grain Processing Plant" and simultaneously a deputy of the Kharkiv Regional Council. He is the general director of an elevator with a simultaneous storage capacity of 44.3 thousand tons, which is part of the SFGCU system — the largest state grain corporation in the country. He has held two roles — a state enterprise director and a regional deputy — for a long time without public explanation.

Poor-quality feed and 3 million UAH losses for the poultry farm

In 2007, about 15 thousand chickens died at the poultry farm LLC "Balakleyske Poultry Company" — the Kharkiv Regional Veterinary Inspection confirmed the toxicity of feed from Izium Grain Processing Plant, in which alkaloids were detected. The Commercial Court of Kharkiv region issued a decision to recover 1.34 million UAH in damages and 1.61 million UAH for lost profits from the Grain Processing Plant in favor of the poultry farm. In March 2008, Islamov stated that no Kyiv institute confirmed the toxicity allegations — however, by that time the court had already ruled against his enterprise.

Declaration: 632 thousand UAH income and zero family assets

According to the 2017 declaration: Islamov’s income — 632,925 UAH, cash assets — 621,008 UAH. Family members are not mentioned in the declaration — family income and assets are zero.
