Screenwriter of "Kvartal 95", People's Deputy from "Servant of the People"

Before being elected to the Verkhovna Rada — screenwriter at the "Kvartal 95" studio, participant in KVN (team "Zaporizhzhia Anomaly"), child psychotherapist, and NLP trainer. People's Deputy of the IX convocation from "Servant of the People", member of the Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy. Father Yevhen Kabanov was part of the Zaporizhzhia nomenklatura in the 1990s — Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration and Chairman of the Regional Council.

Jaguar for $63,000 and forged income certificate

In December 2019, an operator from the "112 Ukraine" TV channel recorded: during a session of the Verkhovna Rada, Kabanov was negotiating by phone the purchase of an elite Jaguar F-Pace for $63,000 and obtaining a forged income certificate — to postpone payment for a few days. The deputy, who by law is prohibited from engaging in business, openly discussed financial schemes in the parliament hall.

TV series and absenteeism instead of lawmaking

Another operator from "112" recorded Kabanov watching a TV series on his laptop during a session of the Verkhovna Rada. From the beginning of the full-scale invasion until September 2022, he missed nearly half of the sessions. The CHESNO movement records his participation in 58% of votes. He kept 1.5 million UAH and $63,500 in cash. His wife had an additional $15,000 and 3,000 euros.

Died on January 14, 2026, at the age of 52 from illness.
