People's Deputy of the IX convocation from "Servant of the People" (No. 83 on the list), chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on State Building, Local Governance, and Urban Planning. In September and October 2021, Bihus.Info published an investigation revealing that the deputy's mother purchased three land plots in the Kyiv region, five apartments in the capital, two non-residential premises, and Tesla and Mercedes-Benz cars totaling UAH 14.5 million — precisely after her son entered the Verkhovna Rada. Klochko defended himself, claiming that the property was bought by his sister, not him.
Suspicion by NABU, bail of UAH 12 million, and voting for the dismantling of anti-corruption bodies
On May 2, 2024, NABU informed Klochko of suspicion regarding illegal enrichment exceeding UAH 11 million. On May 10, the Anti-Corruption Court imposed a preventive measure with bail set at UAH 12 million. Despite the suspicion, Klochko continued to sit in the Rada and on July 22, 2025, voted for draft law No. 12414 on subordinating NABU and SAP to the Prosecutor General.
