Klofa Taras Hryhorovych

Urologist and Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, candidate for Mayor of Lviv from Servant of the People

Taras Klofa is one of the few "clean" regional politicians in the public space. A urologist of the highest category, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Colonel of the Medical Service. He participated in the peacekeeping mission in Iraq (2004) and in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (2014–2016, about 400 days in Donbas). Leading surgeon of the 66th Military Mobile Hospital. Honored Doctor of Ukraine, awarded the Order of Danylo Halytsky for personal courage.

Since 2015 — deputy of Lviv City Council from Samopomich. In May 2020, he left the faction due to "differences in positions" and, together with five other deputies, formed a group of independents. After that — candidate for Mayor of Lviv from Servant of the People in the October 2020 elections: fourth place (9.21%) in the 2019 parliamentary elections, losing to Sadovyi in the mayoral race.

Analysts assessed his role skeptically: "Klofa, of course, plays token opposition and the scapegoat. And Sadovyi crushes the ruling party, but only in the person of his sparring partner."

Declaration: garage and land plot
