Deputy Editor of the pro-Russian publication "Strana.ua"

From February 2016 to October 2022, she was the deputy chief editor of "Strana.ua," which most experts consider pro-Russian. She hosted a program on the NewsONE TV channel together with Ihor Guzhva — at that time, the channel belonged to former regional deputy Yevhen Murayev.

In 2017, she personally posted bail for "Strana" founder Ihor Guzhva, who was prosecuted for extorting $10,000 from a politician to prevent compromising material about him from appearing on the site.

Instead of journalistic ethics — spreading fakes

According to the "Chesno" movement, she spread fakes about forced Ukrainization and fines for speaking Russian, and called information about a possible Russian attack on the eve of the full-scale invasion "Anglo-Saxon disinformation."

Under sanctions for 10 years

In January 2025, Zelensky signed a decree imposing sanctions against Kryukova for 10 years — including asset blocking, prohibition of capital withdrawal, and restrictions on property management rights. Kryukova challenged the decision in the Supreme Court, calling it political persecution.
