Kryvoruchko Anton Vitaliyovych
Security Service Officer
Former civil servant
Former Ukrainian law enforcement officer and senior official of the Security Service of Ukraine
Kryvoruchko served for several years as the first deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Department in Dnipropetrovsk region during Viktor Yanukovych’s presidency. He was born in 1965, received higher education, and built a long-standing influential career in the state security bodies in Dnipropetrovsk region. After the change of government in 2014, Kryvoruchko briefly served as acting head of the regional SBU office, but in October 2014 he was officially dismissed and became subject to the "Lustration Law" («On Purification of Power»), which barred him from public service. Subsequently, he attempted to return to the public arena through politics, running in 2015 for the Dnipropetrovsk regional council from the Revival party, and in 2020 running from the Servant of the People party, but was not elected on both occasions.
Loud accusations regarding resistance to Euromaidan and running a shadow business
Human rights defenders and media accuse him of personally coordinating the forceful dispersal operation of the Dnipro Maidan in January 2014 involving police and armed "titushky" groups. A new wave of anti-corruption investigations by media projects "Buddha" and "HUB Media" in September 2026 exposed the creation of a "shadow alliance" between the Kryvoruchko family and the head of the European Solidarity faction in the Dnipro city council, Kamil Prymakov. Journalists revealed that the former SBU official and his son Anton (currently working in the SBU central apparatus) are involved in office-related schemes, fuel operations, and construction of real estate projects linked to the deputy. Moreover, despite his lustration background, in 2026 Vitaliy Kryvoruchko launched active commercial activities by founding and registering new energy companies (including LLC "Ecostrum Plus") in the field of alternative electricity production, which investigators associate with the legalization of hidden capital accumulated during years of service.
