People's Deputy of the IX convocation from "Servant of the People" (No. 100 on the list). One of the youngest deputies of the convocation (born 1992). Member of the Budget Committee. Before joining the Parliament — deputy head of the marketing and sales department for helicopter equipment at JSC "Motor Sich"; candidate of economic sciences (Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, 2019).

Connections with "Motor Sich"

"Motor Sich" is headed by Viacheslav Boguslaiev — former deputy from the Party of Regions, who was arrested in 2022 for state treason and aiding Russia. Kunayev's father was Boguslaiev's assistant in the Verkhovna Rada for 13 years (until 2019), which led the media to call the young deputy a "protégé of the ex-Party of Regions member." Kunayev himself has not been involved in criminal cases related to Boguslaiev's arrest; the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) have not opened proceedings against him personally.
