Kushnir Ihor Mykolayovych — Doctor of Law, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine (2010–2012), President of "Kyivmiskbud" (2012–2023), mountaineer. He began his career as an electric welder, later working in the oil industry and construction.

Land of "Kyivmiskbud" — cottages for relatives

In May 2023, Bihus.info found that the land of "Kyivmiskbud" in Kozyn, where a recreation base used to be located, was developed into luxury cottages by relatives and associates of Kushnir. The Kyiv City Council voted to create a temporary control commission.

Everest with a disability certificate and 8 months abroad

Bihus.info revealed that Kushnir left Ukraine with a disability certificate and conquered Everest together with his wife Oksana — a Cypriot citizen. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he spent 240 days abroad. The cost of the ascent was $75,000 per person.

Villa on the French Riviera worth 20 million euros

In July 2023, journalists discovered that Kushnir's wife's company purchased a French firm in 2019–2020 that owns the Cayo villa in Villefranche-sur-Mer near Nice — 850 sq. m, six bedrooms, wine cellar, enclosed territory of over 5,000 sq. m. Kushnir himself stated that he is not the owner of property outside Ukraine.

On December 20, 2023, Kushnir submitted a resignation letter, explaining the decision by his desire "to avoid manipulations and gossip." The international audit did not find abuses, but over 20,000 investors were left with blocked properties.
