Kydysiuk Roman Anatoliyovych

Ukrainian judge and public official, current member of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine (since June 2023)

In 2001, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. He has over 20 years of experience in the judiciary system: he progressed from an employee of the Legal Expertise Department and scientific consultant to a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine to advisor to the chairperson of the HQCJ of Ukraine. Since 2012, he has held the position of judge of the Commercial Court of Lviv Region, from which he was delegated by the High Council of Justice to the renewed composition of the Commission.

Declarations and integrity

In the media space and among civil society organizations, the official has appeared due to criticism by the Public Integrity Council (PIC). In 2024–2025, Kydysiuk, together with some colleagues, was accused of attempts to approve judges with questionable reputations bypassing the agreed procedures of analysis by the PIC. Investigative journalists also drew attention to his asset declarations. In particular, there were mentions of receiving an official apartment in an elite district of Kyiv (Obolon) during his work in the HQCJ apparatus, the family’s ownership of four apartments, three cars, as well as maintaining significant amounts of foreign currency and gold bars.
