MP agro-billionaire who assaulted an SBU officer and voted for the "dictatorial laws"

Member of Parliament of the VII, VIII, and IX convocations from various parties; currently — "For the Future". Honorary president and beneficiary of the Vitagro Group of Companies (agriculture business, construction) — over 28 companies. On January 16, 2014, voted for the "dictatorial laws." In 2016, attacked an SBU officer during a search at an enterprise in Volochysk — inflicted a traumatic brain injury; the hospitalized special services officer was taken to Khmelnytskyi. Figure in scandals involving voter bribery and violations of tender procedures. On July 22, 2025, voted "for" draft law No. 12414 on subordinating the NABU/SAP to the Prosecutor General.

NABU suspicion for corruption in the agro-industry, pre-trial detention, and bail of 40 million UAH

In November 2023, NABU and SAP notified Labaziuk of suspicion; on November 28, the High Anti-Corruption Court sent him to pre-trial detention. The next day he was released on bail of 40.2 million UAH, posted by "several sureties" whose names were undisclosed. The proceedings concern corruption schemes in the agro-industrial sector. Criminal prosecution for the 2016 attack on the SBU officer has not resulted in a conviction.
