Member of Parliament of the VII, VIII, and IX convocations from various parties; currently — "For the Future". In 2016, attacked an SBU officer during a search at an enterprise in Volochysk — inflicted a traumatic brain injury; the hospitalized special services officer was taken to Khmelnytskyi. NABU suspicion for corruption in the agro-industry, pre-trial detention, and bail of 40 million UAH
In November 2023, NABU and SAP notified Labaziuk of suspicion; on November 28, the High Anti-Corruption Court sent him to pre-trial detention. The next day he was released on bail of 40.2 million UAH, posted by "several sureties" whose names were undisclosed. The proceedings concern corruption schemes in the agro-industrial sector. Criminal prosecution for the 2016 attack on the SBU officer has not resulted in a conviction.
