Person information
Entrepreneur from Haisyn, who built an alcohol micro-empire through suspicious auctions during the war years
Marchuk ran for the Verkhovna Rada of the 8th convocation from the Radical Party of Lyashko and for the Vinnytsia Regional Council from the Front for Change — did not win either. Currently, he is the head and ultimate beneficiary of at least six entities: "MVI Ethanol," "Luzhansky Alcohol Plant," "Eternal Energy," "Forest Wood," JSC "FLIGHTON," and "Buchach Malt Plant."
Scheme: affiliated companies win auctions against each other
On August 1, 2025, the South-West Interregional Department of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine opened case No. 72/73-25 regarding the "Buchach Malt Plant" and "Myshkovychi Alcohol Plant," where the "MVI Ethanol" structure is a co-founder. The scheme: companies affiliated with each other participate in the auction — and the "own" company wins. Regarding the second transaction, case No. 72/81-25 was opened due to possible distortion of auction results.
Turnover grows amid wave of inspections
"MVI Ethanol" shows rapid turnover growth — from approximately UAH 1 million in 2021 to a planned UAH 5.5 million in 2025. And this occurs during a period when the alcohol market is undergoing a wave of inspections and tightened control.
Wife is a "Servant of the People" deputy, partner is ex-premier, and incomplete declaration
Marchuk's wife, Iryna, is a deputy from the "Servant of the People" party. According to sources, Marchuk's partner is former Prime Minister Groysman. In the 2020 declaration, shares in his own companies are only partially reflected. Property: cash UAH 450,000 and USD 120,000; a 222 sqm house in Haisyn; a 298 sqm garden house in Kyiv; and three land plots.
