Bihus.Info found out that Matios officially did not clarify that from 1992 to 1997 he studied law part-time, led journalists to the university for filming a complimentary film about himself, while concealing this fact. The Prosecutor General’s Office responded that there are no records of Matios’s employment during this five-year period — exactly what he was engaged in remains unknown.

Classified Ilovaisk Case and Dividend-Earning Wife

Under Matios’s leadership, the military prosecutor’s office investigated the Ilovaisk tragedy, but the prosecutor himself stated that the case would be "classified."
