Anatoliy Serhiyovych Matviienko (1953–2020) — People's Deputy of the I, III–VI, and VIII convocations, chairman of three parties (NDP, UNP "Sobor", URP "Sobor"), head of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration (1996–1998), Prime Minister of the ARC government (2005), nephew — People's Deputy Serhiy Berezenko.

Millions in a Civil Servant's Salary

Despite having only a civil servant's salary, Matviienko managed to accumulate significant wealth: the declarant held 640 thousand UAH in cash, his wife — 1.55 million UAH; in bank accounts, the declarant had $82,297 and over 5.8 million UAH combined, and his wife had over 2.5 million UAH and $10,500. Media linked such wealth to the "Vinnytsia clan" and opaque shadow schemes.

Fake Company "Golf-City" and Crimean Privatization

Journalists wrote about the fake company "Golf-City," allegedly behind which were leaders of the "Orange" faction, as well as about the illegal privatization of state property in Crimea during his brief leadership of the ARC Council of Ministers in 2005.

Church in the Declaration

A separate scandal concerned the Uspinnya (Dormition) of the Holy Virgin Church declared by Matviienko, which raised questions regarding the legality of including a place of worship in the personal declaration of a People's Deputy.
