Appointed instead of the dismissed representative of the president

Halyna Olehivna Mykhailyuk is a People's Deputy of the IX convocation from "Servant of the People," Deputy Chair of the Committee on Law Enforcement, and the president's representative in the Verkhovna Rada (since December 20, 2023). 

In December 2023, Zelensky appointed Mykhailyuk as his representative in the Verkhovna Rada, replacing the dismissed Fedor Venislavsky.

Backdated business trip arranged by the Pinchuk Foundation

In 2020, journalists from Radio Liberty found out that Mykhailyuk traveled on a business trip to an event in Switzerland organized by the foundation of oligarch Viktor Pinchuk, and the business trip was officially documented only after the event had taken place. The backdating of documents regarding this foreign trip, funded by a structure of a powerful oligarch, raises questions about the real source of financing and the purpose of the trip.

Voting against the independence of anti-corruption bodies

On July 22, 2025, she voted "for" bill No. 12414, which introduced dependence of the NABU and SAP operations on the Prosecutor General — effectively eliminating the independence of anti-corruption bodies.

Conflicts within the team due to presidential office appointment

Mykhailyuk accused faction leader David Arakhamia of lying and hypocrisy, expressed distrust toward her party colleagues, and indirectly confirmed that her rival Yaresko is a creation of the Office of the President lacking the experience and knowledge to fulfill her duties.
