Head of the State Customs Service (August 2019 — April 2020). Zelenskiy publicly called him "extremely ineffective" and supported his dismissal; the "Servant of the People" party also condemned his work.

NABU opened a case following a WACC decision, contested dismissal in court — proceedings stalled

In February 2020, an anonymous complaint to NABU alleged that Nefedov and a group of customs officers systematically received bribes for fuel supply and uncertified panels entering the market — the budget allegedly lost over 40 million UAH. The WACC ordered NABU to open proceedings, which were initiated on March 4, 2020. On April 24, the Cabinet dismissed Nefedov; he challenged the dismissal in court but lost. Honcharuk and Milovanov called the dismissals of Nefedov and Verlanov a "purge" of reformers. He was never officially charged; proceedings have not resumed in public registers since 2020.
