Treason, incitement of religious hatred, unpaid taxes of 4.3 billion UAH, and a trawler worth 1 billion UAH
In January 2025, the State Bureau of Investigation announced suspicion against Novinsky for treason and incitement of religious enmity (Part 2 of Article 111, Article 161 of the Criminal Code); the court chose preventive measure — detention in absentia. The same year the SBI announced new suspicion — tax evasion amounting to 4.3 billion UAH by Smart-Holding structures. In 2024, the High Anti-Corruption Court confiscated the fishing trawler "Bukhta Sokolovskaya" valued approximately at 1 billion UAH, which effectively belonged to Novinsky's LLC "Naval Logistic." Attempted to re-register industrial assets to affiliated entities to bypass sanctions. Included in the Register of State Traitors by the CHESNO movement. Gave an interview to Tucker Carlson.
