Scandalous prosecutor with four apartments and two electric cars registered to his pensioner mother

The key scandal concerns vehicles: the 2024 declaration records two identical Volkswagen ID.UNYX electric cars (2025 model year), registered on December 13, 2025 — both registered to the prosecutor’s pensioner mother, who is a family member. The value of each vehicle is about 1.3 million UAH, totaling 2.61 million UAH. Prosecutor Orlov explained the acquisition by stating that his mother "needs her own transport vehicle" — and immediately two premium electric cars. Orlov's own financial status includes 1.22 million UAH in bank accounts and 18,800 USD in cash; the mother declared 95,000 UAH income and 86,000 UAH pension payments — amounts clearly insufficient to purchase two new electric cars. Additionally, the family declared 481,000 UAH cash from the source "Other for the family." No reaction from the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) or law enforcement agencies has been recorded.
