In the media and political sphere, the journalist is known for his uncompromising accusations against top officials of Censor.NET. In particular, he publicly criticized the leadership of the National Bank of Ukraine for "double standards" and demanded through the Prosecutor General's Office the immediate arrest of accounts of major online casinos Pin-Up and VBet due to their probable Russian connections, according to OBOZ.UA. Plinskyi also actively covered corruption schemes involving the Hrynkevych family related to procurement for the Armed Forces of Ukraine worth 1.5 billion UAH and thoroughly analyzed materials from the high-profile NABU "Carthage" operation by ANTICOR regarding the distribution of shadow quotas in the State Tax Service. In September 2026, the investigator was the first to draw attention to systematic targeted strikes by the occupiers on the largest Ukrainian tobacco factories (JTI, Philip Morris, BAT, and Imperial Brands), which are key taxpayers to the country's defense budget.
