"Amber" former MP of the "People's Front", convicted by the High Anti-Corruption Court

Politician from Uman region (born 1982, Uman). In 2014 — member and acting chairman of the National Commission for Financial Services Regulation (dismissed the same year), later MP of the VIII convocation from the "People's Front" (No. 39), secretary of the banking committee. Was among the signatories of the submission to the Constitutional Court that annulled the article on illicit enrichment.

The Amber case

In 2017, together with MP Boryslav Rozenblat, became a figure in the high-profile corruption "amber case" investigated by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. On July 11, 2017, the Verkhovna Rada lifted his parliamentary immunity; the court set bail at 304,000 UAH, imposed an electronic monitoring bracelet, and confiscated his foreign passports. The indictment was submitted to court; NABU also investigated the assets of his relatives.

In 2018–2019, he unlawfully received approximately 367,000 UAH in housing rent compensation despite owning an apartment in Kyiv. In April 2024, the High Anti-Corruption Court found him guilty; according to a plea agreement — 3 years probation and a fine of 17,000 UAH.
