Claim for UAH 17 billion and legal dispute around "Prime Assets Capital"
On March 27, 2025, Marina Poroshenko filed a lawsuit with the Kryzhopil District Court of Vinnytsia region over the division of joint property amounting to over UAH 17.1 billion—after Zelensky imposed indefinite sanctions against her husband. Among the desired assets is a controlling stake (78.93%) in the investment fund "Prime Assets Capital" valued at UAH 8.33 billion, which owns "Channel 5", agricultural companies, and industrial enterprises. The court closed the proceedings due to "lack of subject matter dispute." Marina Poroshenko’s lawyer insisted: "she is not under sanctions and has right to a share." According to 2024 results, the couple declared joint income of UAH 4.6 billion; Poroshenko’s International Investment Bank was fined UAH 20.5 million by the National Bank of Ukraine in March 2025 for violations of anti-money laundering legislation.
