Director-producer, "Pohcresnyk", who accompanied Cheban to banks

Kyiv-based "director" Ihor Ratushnyi came under the scrutiny of journalists from the program "Hroshi" on "1+1" in 2019: he offered underage girls roles in the youth series "Blogers", invited them to casting at the Kyivnaukfilm studio, and then demanded an advance payment of 3,000 UAH for "preparation," which consisted only of tongue twisters. Throughout the scam, he earned thousands of dollars but did not return the money to the victims and continued "collecting castings." Ratushnyi told journalists that he "does not have the right to disclose" which channel commissioned the series—allegedly due to a non-disclosure agreement. Thus, seven years before the U420 scandal, he already had a reputation as a fraudster using cinematic settings as a tool for deception.

Role in U420

According to Cheban's testimony, he used the pseudonym "Pohcresnyk" and personally accompanied him during visits to banks to open accounts and arrange documents necessary for the operation of the U420 network. He confirmed to journalists that searches were conducted at his address, but categorically denied involvement in the network. The participation of a public cultural figure in the financial infrastructure of the drug network—if confirmed—would become a separate high-profile episode of the case; his status in the proceedings has not been publicly established.
