Elite Jurisprudence, Forbes, and Transition to the Military Front: The Success Story of the Founder of MORIS

Andriy Romanchuk is a well-known Ukrainian lawyer, public figure, and founder of one of Ukraine's leading legal companies, MORIS (formerly known as Moris Group). He was born in 1978 in Ivano-Frankivsk, where at a young age he worked as the first deputy head of the Regional State Administration and earned authority in the region. In 2004, he co-founded MORIS, which grew from a small regional firm into a powerful capital-based player ranked among the top 30 best legal associations in the country, specializing in supporting large corporations, M&A, and litigation. After the full-scale invasion began, Romanchuk stepped back from direct business management, was mobilized into the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine, and became deputy commander of the "Lava" drone systems regiment within the 13th NGU Brigade "Khartiya", responsible for technological innovations and legal support of the military.

Attempt on Corps Commander Obolensky, Major Corporate Clients, and Absence from Corruption Registers

Unlike previous anti-corruption figures, Andriy Romanchuk and his company MORIS currently have no official suspicions, open criminal proceedings, or accusations of corruption in the registers of NABU or the SBU. The main media investigations and public comments involving him are related to the high-profile criminal case concerning the failed assassination attempt on the commander of the "Khartiya" corps, Ihor Obolensky, where Romanchuk acted as the corps commander's legal advisor and actively participated in exposing the perpetrators. In business circles, the firm's activities have been mentioned by journalists analyzing major corporate conflicts in Ukraine's banking, agricultural, and energy sectors because MORIS traditionally defends the interests of large players and government institutions; however, the impeccable reputation of the founder within the Armed Forces and his active stance on establishing military justice keep the firm outside of typical corruption scandals.
