Technocrat from Yermak's team: from Social Minister to Ambassador to Spain
Economist and public administrator (born 1985, Khmilnyk), graduate of Kyiv National Economic University, studied at the Vienna Institute, IMF Institute, National Academy of Public Administration. Career in public service: Kyiv City Administration, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Finance (social sector expenditures), Cabinet Secretariat (strategic planning), USAID/Deloitte health care reform project (eHealth). In summer 2019, trained "Servant of the People" MPs in workshops. Minister of Social Policy (2019–2020) in Honcharuk’s government. From March 2020 to September 2024 — Deputy Head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak; dismissed by Zelensky’s decree. From July 2025 — Ambassador of Ukraine to Spain (concurrently to UNWTO and Andorra).
"Backup airfield" after the Presidential Office
Appointment as ambassador was perceived by critics as a "soft landing" for a member of Yermak’s team rather than professional diplomacy; amid later searches and NABU/SAP suspicions against Yermak himself (2025–26), this fueled mockery. No suspicions were announced against Sokolovska personally.
Assets and rumors
The declaration is modest by ministerial standards (apartments in Kyiv and Khmilnyk, approximately UAH 1.2 million income). Media relayed unverified rumors about godfather-like ties with H. Tretiakova and O. Duma.
