"King of Obolon Markets," Kyiv City Council Deputy with an Empire of Dozens of Companies
A businessman-politician (born 1966, Lviv; lived in Brovary and Boyarka), graduate of Kyiv Trade and Economic University (1996). Started as an assembler at the Iskra factory and as a stage installer at the Lesya Ukrainka Theater, later became an entrepreneur. In politics since the 1990s: Kyiv City Council deputy since 2002 (initially from the Socialist Party, from 2007 — "Fatherland," headed the Obolon district party organization), member of the land use commission. Unsuccessfully ran for the Parliament several times.
"King of Markets" and Kiosks
The media called him the owner of Obolon markets "Minsky," "Lux," "Liliya," "Pivnichnyi," and numerous kiosks. According to CHESNO, he is listed as the founder of 37 and the ultimate beneficiary of 48 companies (as of 2024). In 2012–2013, he was named a partner of then-head of Obolon District State Administration Antonov in the illegal construction of nearly two hundred kiosks.
