Assistant to the Director of PHZ in the $2 Million Scheme

Founder and director of the private company "Stasenko and Partners", a suspect in NABU corruption case No. 52019000000000537. He acted as an assistant to the management of the State Enterprise "Pavlohrad Chemical Plant" — a strategic defense enterprise in Dnipropetrovsk region — in the 2016 scheme: at that time, the plant purchased pipes for $2 million from the American company Petroleum & Materials LLC, headed by Dewan Bachai — a person known in the US for fraud charges. Stasenko facilitated the organization of this fictitious transaction and the embezzlement of funds, causing losses to the state enterprise totaling $918 thousand.

NABU Search and Criminal Charges

NABU has declared Stasenko wanted internationally — his whereabouts are unknown. He is suspected under Part 5 of Article 191 (embezzlement on an especially large scale), Part 3 of Article 209 (money laundering), Part 2 of Article 364 (abuse of official position), and Part 4 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (forgery of documents). Altogether, due to the corruption schemes at PHZ in which he participated, the state enterprise lost at least UAH 43 million in profits.
