Verbytskyi Dmytro Anatoliyovych

"Konyk," Porsche, and a villa in Antalya — on a prosecutor's salary

Dmytro Verbytskyi is the former Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine, originally from Odesa, and has been in the prosecutor's system since 2003. In spring 2024, journalists from "Schemes" discovered that he lived in the "Konyk" cottage town in Kyiv — the house was purchased by his nephew under a power of attorney from an Odesa businessman for 2 million UAH, which is six times below market value. In the same year, Verbytskyi's girlfriend Khrystyna Ilnytska bought a cottage in the same "Konyk" with a market value of 48 million UAH for 24 times less, as well as a Porsche Macan T for $100,000 — despite a combined official income over a decade of 360,000 UAH. The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) identified unjustified assets worth 29 million UAH: two Lexus cars, a Porsche, a house in Kyiv (16.3 million), a villa in Odesa (10 million), an apartment in Antalya (3.9 million) — all registered to connected persons.

Charity instead of prison and "Batkivshchyna" as a cover

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) opened a case on May 13, 2024 — but over two years there have been no public procedural actions: no charges have been served, no searches conducted, and no assets seized. After dismissal, Verbytskyi engaged in "charity" through the "Krayina dobra" Foundation — distributing food packages in the Odesa region under the symbols of the "Batkivshchyna" party, having headed the local branch. Activists openly call this an attempt to whitewash his reputation and return to politics.
