The first judo world champion in Ukraine

Born in the city of Gali, Georgia; moved to Ukraine in early childhood due to war. Graduated from Zakarpattia State University (Law, 2009) and Kamianets-Podilskyi University (Physical Education, 2013). The first judo world champion in the history of Ukraine (2010), two-time European champion (2013, 2019), winner of the European Games. Honored Master of Sports. Ended sports career in 2023. Since 2020 — deputy of Kyiv City Council from "Servant of the People", member of the commission on architecture and land relations. Since May 26, 2025 — head of the Sviatoshyn district state administration of Kyiv.

Kyiv City Council land commission and appointment to the RSA without public administration experience

Membership in the Kyiv City Council land commission — one of the capital's most corruption-sensitive bodies (this is where the "toilet schemes" and land manipulations recorded by NABU in 2025 took place) — combined with faction affiliation to "Servant of the People" poses a potential conflict of interest. Appointment as head of the RSA occurred without any public competition and without prior public administration experience — solely due to sports reputation and party connections.
