The largest manufacturer of security systems in Europe — a Ukrainian success story
The company was founded in 2011 in Kyiv by Oleksandr Konotopskyi with a starting capital of $50,000 (prior to that, he and a partner imported Chinese alarm systems). Today, it is the largest manufacturer of security systems in Europe: 180 products (intrusion protection, video surveillance, fire safety, automation), over 4 million users in more than 180 countries, 4,100+ employees, second place in the top 50 product IT companies in Ukraine. In spring 2022, it evacuated its Kyiv factory to Zakarpattia using 160 trucks and restored full production within five weeks, growing almost 50% during the eight months of the war.
Factories are located in Ukraine, Turkey (since 2022), and Hanoi (starting November 2025: 8,300 m², $5.7 million investment, 1,000+ jobs); R&D centers are in Kyiv, Lviv, and Vinnytsia. Konotopskyi was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” by Forbes and ranked 20th among the richest in 2022; he has announced a goal of an IPO with a $10 billion capitalization.
In July 2026, publications appeared regarding his tax residency in the UAE, the offshore Ajax Systems Cyprus Holdings, "capital withdrawal," as well as the acquisition of control over the portal "Censor.net." He is also the owner of the UAV manufacturer SkyFall.
