Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine is the central executive authority that forms and implements state policy in the field of healthcare, medical services, and sanitary-epidemiological welfare of the population. The main task of the ministry is to ensure accessible and quality medical care, development of the public health system, disease prevention, and organization of the operation of medical institutions throughout the territory of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine coordinates the activities of hospitals, medical centers, scientific institutions, and specialized services, as well as implements reforms in the medical sector and digital medical services. The agency is responsible for state vaccination programs, quality control of medicinal products, epidemic response, and development of emergency medical care. In modern conditions, the Ministry of Health plays an important role in strengthening the healthcare system, international medical cooperation, and ensuring medical safety of the population of Ukraine.
