About ANTIKOR

"Antikor" (antikor.info / antikor.com.ua) is a news portal that for over 10 years has masqueraded as an anti-corruption publication. The resource does not have official media status, its ownership structure is concealed behind offshore companies and nominees, and its content is filled with commissioned materials and pro-Kremlin "theme lines."

The trademark owner is the Panamanian company Teka-Group Foundation, founded by the Belize offshore Hamilton Management Ltd. The trademark registration applicant was Kostyantyn Yevheniyovych Chernenko from Pryluky, Chernihiv region. Court cases indicate that the founder and director of "Antikor" is Yuriy Horban, while Chernenko is the chief editor.

The site charges from $150 to $200 for posting commissioned publications, with the main income coming from article removals: from $3,000 to $12,000. A criminal case was opened for violation of privacy rights, and the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv imposed a seizure on the domain name, but in March 2021 a police investigator closed the case without explanation. After 2020, Chernenko left the country. In 2018, a study by "Texts," supported by the Renaissance Foundation, included "Antikor" in the TOP-10 Ukrainian websites specializing in fake news.
