🤔 Klitschko in the Verkhovna Rada talked about preparations for winter and asked the central government about air defense and the billions for protecting energy facilities
Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko spoke emotionally from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada and asked the central government where the billions allocated for air defense and protection of critical infrastructure had gone.
"The city authorities are doing everything they can to ensure the capital’s viability amid massive shelling. If last year there were 19 hits on the capital’s heat- and power-generating facilities, this year there are already almost 50! And specialists have been working constantly, restoring equipment, preparing facilities for winter. And Kyiv held on. Despite a shortage of workers at municipal enterprises and suspended payments. You can say anything, pin even World War III on Klitschko… But the question is not only mine: where is the air defense to protect the capital? Where is the protection for Ukrenergo’s facilities? Where are the billions that were allocated for this?" — Vitali Klitschko said.
