Since the start of the full-scale war, Ukraine has received from Western partners almost 200 billion dollars in direct budget support. The head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Andriy Pyshnyy, called this amount of aid a “colossal sum.”

This was stated by the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Andriy Pyshnyy.

According to Pyshnyy, since the start of the full-scale invasion Western partners have directed to Ukraine almost 200 billion dollars of direct budget support.

“This is a colossal amount,” emphasized the head of the NBU.

Before the start of the full-scale war, in the 2021 year, the revenue part of Ukraine’s state budget amounted to about 47 billion dollars, while expenditures reached 54 billion dollars.

Following the latest changes, approved in June, Ukraine’s state budget expenditures for the 2026 year are planned at 143,24 billion dollars. At the same time, budget revenues are expected to be about 64 billion dollars.

The difference between planned revenues and expenditures is covered by financial assistance and loans provided by Western states.

In addition, Western partners provided Ukraine with weapons worth hundreds of billions of dollars free of charge.
