The ex-head of the OP Andriy Yermak had his preventive measure changed

The High Anti-Corruption Court 10 in August partially granted the defense's motion for the former Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak. The court expanded the territory in which he may travel.

This was reported by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.

What is known about Yermak's new preventive measure?

After the defense's motion, the investigative judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court partially changed the preventive measure.

The defense asked the court to review the previously established restrictions. The reason for this, according to the HACC, was the simultaneous receipt by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine of a number of letters similar in content from commanders of military units in Yermak's interests.

The defense argued the necessity of changing the restrictions because of Yermak's participation in a project providing legal assistance to servicemembers. As a result, the court expanded the territory the suspect may travel within without prior permission. Previously he was not allowed to leave Kyiv and Kyiv region without the permission of the detective, prosecutor, or court.

Now that restriction applies to the borders of Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions. At the same time, he is allowed transit travel through other regions.
