Drapatyi proposed personnel changes in the Armed Forces: Zelensky reported on the decisions

President Volodymyr Zelensky said that personnel proposals for the Armed Forces of Ukraine were discussed at today’s meeting. According to him, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi, together with Ihor Skybyuk and Yevhen Khmara, presented his vision for changes.

“Some decisions are already prepared; there will be more decisions,” Zelensky said.

Separately, the meeting participants discussed the situation at the front and the strengthening of key directions, including in Donetsk region. The president noted units that, he said, are achieving results in the areas of Sloviansk, Kostiantynivka, and Dobropillia.

They also discussed active operations of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to Zelensky, the parties agreed on steps intended to expand the operational capabilities of Ukrainian forces.

The meeting also reviewed the execution of the long-range strike plan against Russia. Some operations were adjusted, and new ones were approved. Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine’s long-range capabilities must not allow Russia to seize the initiative in the war.

Special attention was paid to air defense and protection from Russian attacks of frontline and border settlements, regional centers, and Kyiv.

The president also said he expects results from Ukrainian diplomacy in securing military needs, including strengthening air defense. In his view, air defense should remain a priority for the countries that can help Ukraine.
