Polyakova Was Predicted a Seat in the Verkhovna Rada: Who Could Bring the Singer Into Politics

Olya Polyakova may find herself among participants in a new political project and run in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Such a scenario was voiced by political scientist Petro Oleshchuk, who suggested that the singer could be given a place in the top five of the party list.

This was stated by the political scientist, a lecturer at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Petro Oleshchuk.

According to his forecast, around a famous businessman a new political project could appear, involving public figures. One of them, the political scientist named Polyakova.

Oleshchuk suggested that the singer could break into the party’s top five and, together with her, try to get into the Verkhovna Rada in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

The expert compared the forecasted project to the Georgian party “Georgian Dream.” In his version, the political force would declare a stance against Putin and the war, but at the same time advocate for preserving Russian culture and language.

The political scientist also suggested that such a party could appear somewhere near the political field of Oleksiy Honcharenko and become a competitor to Oleksiy Arestovych.

“And since we have a terrible 'Ukrainian totalitarianism,' not 'Russian democracy,' this party will be registered and allowed to participate in elections,” Oleshchuk ironized.

At the same time, there are no statements by Polyakova herself about an intention to run for the Verkhovna Rada or join a specific political force in the published material. It is only a forecast by the political scientist.

Earlier Polyakova drew attention with another frankly stated admission. The singer confessed that for many years she publicly claimed to be five years younger.

According to the artist, it all started after a journalist mistake. Once media representatives came to congratulate her on 25-year, although in reality Polyakova was then 30.

The singer decided not to correct the journalists, after which the incorrect age stuck in the public space for about 15 years.

“Once I just took five years off for myself. On one birthday, journalists came to me and said: ‘Today you are celebrating 25 years.’ Although in reality I was 30. I didn’t correct them. And this story lasted for about 15 years,” Polyakova shared.
